It has been reported tonight, first by Mike Garafolo, that the Denver Broncos have signed cornerback Jamar Taylor after he passed a physical this afternoon.

Taylor was a second-round draft pick in 2013 for the Miami Dolphins, before going on to spend time with the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals.

John Elway and the Broncos made the move after Chris Harris Jr. fractured his fibula in Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Harris is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

Offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandijo has been waived to make room for Taylor.

The Boise State product has three career interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Taylor’s career has almost gone full circle, playing for the Broncos in college, and now finding himself with the Broncos in his professional career.

Welcome to the Broncos Jamar!
