Terrell Davis: Into the Hall Of Fame

At long last one of the most talented Running Backs in the history of the NFL takes his place in the illustrious Hall Of Fame. The best post-season Running Back who won two Super Bowls, including being named Super Bowl MVP against the Green Bay Packers as Denver won its first Super Bowl. It has been long overdue but later today, Terrell Davis will take his place in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame.

Terrell Davis is many fans’ all-time favourite Broncos, including Stephen Hallows who details why.

My favourite Bronco of all time is Terrell Davis and for many reasons. I’ve always liked running backs but Denver never had a great one since Floyd Little. TD was an unknown, a 6th round pick who went on to grab league and Super Bowl MVP honours. He handled himself with class (on and off the field) was the best running back in football and Denver would not have their first 2 Super Bowls if it wasn’t for number 30. Plus he looked good. Some backs rumble over the turf, some cut and slash. Davis was an incredible sight in full flow. He had the physique of a cruiserweight and ran with all the grace and power of a prize stallion. Truly deserving of his place in Canton. Terrell Lamar Davis, you were magnificent to watch.

TD, as he was affectionately known, provided so many wonderful moments for Broncos and NFL fans, which we look through below.

Some fans weren’t even Broncos fans such was his impact, including Claire.

Jon Stargaryen even had the pleasure of meeting the great Terrell Davis.

Terrell Davis has brought so much joy to Broncos fans around the world, including here in the UK. Super Bowl 32 is a moment that certainly sticks in the memory for many. Congratulations Terrell Davis. One of the greatest.
