Broncos insider Mike Klis reports that the Broncos will be heading into Cincinnati without the services of tight-end Jeff Heuerman and outside linebacker Shaq Barrett.

Heuerman suffered a bruised lung and broken ribs in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and is set to miss the rest of the season. Through 11 games Heuerman had a career-best 281 receiving yards, along with two touchdowns.

Matt LaCosse caught his first career touchdown on Sunday, and could be in line to start against the Cincinnati Bengals. Klis reports that Temarrick Hemingway, a 2016 6th round selection by the LA Rams, could be called up from the practice squad to provide depth.

Meanwhile, Shaq Barrett is expected to miss three to four weeks with a hip flexor injury, so could be in line to return for the Christmas Eve game in Oakland. Barrett recorded his third sack of the season against the Steelers, and his injury could see Demarcus Walker activated on gameday.
